Hi all,
After upgrade my ESXi from 5.0 to 5.1 , Choose some VM to install VMware tools and get error 'The required VMware Tools ISO images does not exist'
Follow details on error, I ssh to esx server saw that symlink point to non existing folder.
isoimages -> /productLocker/vmtools
productLocker -> /locker/packages/5.1.0
and there is no folder 5.1.0 inside /locker/packages.
I also found VMware kb 1036810 specify download vmware tools for each VM os. This seems not a solution for me, not sure if anyone has better solution.
